Dear Parents and Students,

 

     I would like to welcome you to 3rd Grade! I am looking forward to a great school year! I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University. Since then, I have been working in classrooms around Lewis, including teaching 3rd grade and teaching computer lab. I am originally from New Hampshire but have lived in Georgia for the past 20 years. In my free time I enjoy staying active and spending time with family and friends.

 

     For classroom information, you can always check my blog through the Lewis website at www.lewislions.org. Click on the faculty and staff link and find my name under the third grade teacher list. Students will bring home a folder on Thursdays that contains their graded work for the week and a behavior sheet. Please take out the graded work and sign and return the folder on Fridays.

 

     I recommend sending a sweater or sweatshirt with your child so that they may have the option to layer throughout the day. The temperature in the classroom is out of my control and it might be helpful if they can add a layer if needed for comfort. We will also be having daily snack time. Please send in a healthy snack each day.
