Hello Team Moore,

Just a reminder that Fall Break is next week. I hope you all have a safe and happy break!

This afternoon, students will be bringing their Thursday Folders home. There are lots of things in there this week so please be sure to check the folder when they get home.

The most important paper coming home will be about scheduling conferences in October. This paper is yellow and is located in the "return to school" side of the folder. I have listed a date and time on the conference paper for you. Please fill out the bottom of the form and return it to me as soon as possible. If your child has siblings at Lewis, I have gotten together with the siblings' teachers to try to make conferences convenient for you. Those teachers may have contacted you already or will contact you as soon as we get back from the Fall Break.

I will not be sending homework home over the break. However, I will be sending a reading challenge home with the students tomorrow in place of homework. This reading challenge is optional, though strongly encouraged. If your child completes the reading challenge, it will be due on Monday, September 30th, when we return to school.
