Things your student can do at home if they do not have access to a computer or the internet

Things your child can do if they are unable to utilize the internet for Digital Learning:
Reading:
Read independently (20-30 minutes at a time)
Read to another person in the home (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, sibling, cousin, etc.)
To your self out loud in the mirror
Write 2-3 sentences describing what you read
Think about the WH questions while reading or writing about what you read (who, what, when, where, why, how)
Math:
Make multiplication flashcards to practice your facts
Make division flashcards to practice your facts
Review addition and subtraction by solving 3-digit problems
Help cook dinner to work on measurement and fractions
Pick a page from the math book to complete
Writing:
Write a short story (include a main character, setting, problem, and solution)
Write a journal entry each day (tell how you are feeling, what you did, what did you learn, who were you with, etc.)
Make a comic book (include pictures AND writing)
